overlayfs -- the kernel's version, not fuse-overlayfs -- recently learned
(as of linux 5.16.0, I believe) how to support rootless users. Previously,
rootless users had to use these storage.conf(5) settings:
* storage.driver=vfs (aka STORAGE_DRIVER=vfs), or
* storage.driver=overlay (aka STORAGE_DRIVER=overlay),
storage.options.overlay.mount_program=/usr/bin/fuse-overlayfs
(aka STORAGE_OPTS=/usr/bin/fuse-overlayfs)
Now that a third backend is available, setting only:
* storage.driver=overlay (aka STORAGE_DRIVER=overlay)
https://github.com/containers/podman/issues/13123 reported EXDEV errors
during the normal operation of their container. Tracing it out, the
problem turned out to be that their container was being mounted without
'userxattr'; I don't fully understand why, but mount(8) mentions this is
needed for rootless users:
> userxattr
>
> Use the "user.overlay." xattr namespace instead of "trusted.overlay.".
> This is useful for unprivileged mounting of overlayfs.
https://github.com/containers/storage/pull/1156 found and fixed the issue
in podman, and this just pulls in that via

Update containers common to the latest HEAD. Some bug fixes in libimage
forced us to have a clearer separation between ordinary images and
manifest lists. Hence, when looking up manifest lists without recursing
into any of their instances, we need to use `LookupManifestList()`.
Also account for some other changes in c/common (e.g., the changed order
in the security labels).
Further vendor the latest HEAD from Buildah which is required to get the
bud tests to pass.

We leverage the containers/storage image history tracking feature to
show the previously used image names when running:
`podman images --history`

Update container/image to address a commit error when copying layers and metadata.
This change may require users to recreate containers.
container/storage added some new lock protection to prevent possible deadlock and
data corruption.

This vendor will improve the performance of using userns
since it will save aside the image layer of the chown, so
followup runnings of podman will use the new layer rather
then chowning again.

New pinned commit is ff8a6d2bf496daf46ab1a153f783a0f6b8762a54
This includes a fix to error reporting with overlayfs, and will
produce more verbose errors when initializing overlayfs fails.

Need to pull in the latest containers/storage and containers/image to fix lots of
issues. Also want to update runtime-tools to take advantage of newer generate
code.
