Fix a number of typos and README formatting
...
There were a number of instances where 'baloon'[sic] was spelled
incorrectly in the SQL init scripts. This commit fixes those errors.
Additionally, there were a few missed back-ticks in the README file
where formatting should have been applied, so those omissions were
corrected as well.
